Hi.
I am looking for a round diamond, 1.4-1.6 ct (closer to 1.4 is fine, will sacrifice size for cut), color grade H-G or higher, up to $12.5k for the diamond, platinum solitaire setting. The most important thing for me is the cut. I would go with Brian Gavin, but I want a James Allen setting so just keeping it simple with all JA.
Options (feel free to suggest otherwise as well):
As for the diamonds you found, all of them are perfect choices and there wouldn’t be a visual difference between them in terms of size and brilliance. I personally like this one www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.41-carat-h-color-vs1-clarity-true-hearts-cut-sku-6649190?a_aid=dmnd1357 the most but all are cut superbly.
Thanks for the advice. I am looking at this diamond but was wondering if it’s eyeclean:
Yes, in my opinion, that diamond is eye-clean. I don’t think you would be able to see any inclusions in person (bear in mind those videos are extremely magnified, try to zoom out to 10x and you won’t be able to spot any inclusions). You can also ask JA to confirm the eye-cleanliness. The cut is nice too.
Ok I put it on hold. I think I’ll get this one tomorrow.
Thanks!
Sounds great.
