Q&A: Finding a Beautiful Round Diamond For a White Gold Solitaire Setting Under $1.5K

 Hello and thanks a lot for all the information. I have learnt a lot from the website.

I have a small budget compared to what I normally see on your questions, less than $1,5k. I plan to set the diamond on a white gold engagement ring as a classic solitaire.

I really like the diamonds below from James Allen and I’d like to know what you think about them.
I am worried I am being too picky about color, clarity and cut, and that maybe I could buy a larger diamond without a big visual difference. I tried to follow your advice but I am still very insecure about my choices. Please let me know what you think about it.

Thanks a lot for your help. I read the pages you sent me and I understood that I could lower my color and clarity grades, and still it would be probably invisible to the naked eye. I want to make a choice that maximize the diamond’s fire. What should I further consider to increase that?

I made a new search on JA and I could lower the price a bit, but I couldn’t have really larger diamonds with this new parameters. Could you help me with that? Some diamonds I like this time around:

I know that I shouldn’t be so worried about timing and I don’t want to speed you up since I want to make a conscious and great choice, however I am worried since I will be traveling out of the US soon and I think I should buy it no later than Sunday.
