Is there something I am missing with this diamond? It looks to be much better than most SI 1 I have looked at. Do the color fluorescence etc all point to being a good bargain?
We recommend avoiding IGI lab if possible https://www.diamonds.pro/education/igi/. Their lab is less consistent and they inflate the color/clarity grades by at least one (on average).
Also, we recommend SI2+ for clarity to make sure there won’t be any harsh inclusions that might negatively affect the diamond’s structure.

I’m looking for a round diamond around 1 carat. The setting will be a platinum pave one. My budget is around 4500-6000. Hoping to stay closer to 5k.
