I’m interested in purchasing a pair of 1tcw diamond earrings from Blue Nile. Originally I was looking at higher clarity (VS1/VS2) but after reading your diamond earring guide I am now considering a SI1 clarity pair of diamond stones. Are there any stones that you would recommend?

I am also interested in a diamond solitaire pendant. For this I am thinking I would want to go higher in quality than the earrings, probably a VS1 or VS2? I am thinking around .75 to .80 ctw. These are what I saw but not sure if they are cloudy or would have the nice sparkle I am looking for. Can you let me know what you think of these or if there are better stones you would recommend?
The first J-color diamond (0.76ct) is cut a bit too deep. It’s better to keep the depth % closer to 61.5 and it should never exceed 62.5. The other one is not bad, but for a pendant, I’d rather go one color grade up to ensure the colorless impression.
