I am shopping around for a 1-2 carat pear shape solitaire diamond ring. My budget is at 5K.

I prefer it on white gold with the tapered ring look similar to below link.

I checked the 1.01 carat G color stone. I quite don’t like the bow-tie and the inclusions also might be noticeable.

Can we go up in size of the stone and still keep close to 5K? Ok if it goes over a little.

The 1.10+ carat stones with pictures on Ritani are over 5k. And I need to see a real image or video of pear shape in order to check the bow-tie.
