I am going to buy a pair of diamond earrings for my girlfriend. I read your site, so I am contacting you. I was thinking of a pair of 1 carat each bought from Blue Nile. I know nothing of diamonds.
I am not overly sensitive to cost and she appreciates things high quality. Assistance would be appreciated.

Those certainly seem like great diamonds. That being said, why would I choose those over just buying a preset pair? It seems like it would be about 40% cheaper and I think neither of us would be able to tell the difference.
