I love this setting, but have been leaning towards a cushion cut. Do you think it would look better with a round or cushion?

Budget is approx. $10,000.
I love this diamond for you:
Its bright, eye-clean and a great value. What do you think?
It is very nice, but I think I would prefer a brilliant cut versus a modiffied brilliant. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t a brilliant cut the same as a round diamond? I love the sparkle and look of a round diamond, but thought the setting I chose may look better with a cushion. Do you agree?
I would go as small as 1.25 carats if there is a round or brilliant cut cushion that would work.
…
I have decided to go with a round diamond so any assistance you can give would be appreciated. Thanks.
I would recommend this diamond for you.
Its bright, eye-clean and a great value. It will look great in that setting and comes in on budget. What do you think?
It is nice, but please take a look at this one.
This one is slightly over budget, but what do you think? My understanding is that the lower the depth, the larger the stone looks so I think this is similar to the one you found.
That diamond is nice, but the gain in size isn’t noticeable.

The difference in size is less than 2%.
