Hello, I’m interested in an emerald-cut diamond in the neighborhood of 1.5 carat.Obviously, this kind of stone “Makes a statement”so the quality has to be acceptable.
I know it won’t be cheap, but I am afraid I’ll pay too much. Any advice?
Thanks.
Can you tell me what style of setting (solitaire, halo, pave or other) and metal (platinum/white or yellow gold) you’re going to use? One last question, what’s your approximate budget?
Thank you for your help.
No setting, my finance wishes to build her ring using a local goldsmith and include an number of smaller stones that she has acquired or inherited (we are middle aged). The stone I am looking for would be the centerpiece of this as-yet-not-designed ring.
Actually, I’d probably ask for an inexpensive, temporary setting so I can slip something on her finger, but I assume that’s no big deal.
My question is: “What kind of rectangular diamond should I expect for $5000 and who should I buy it from?”
Thank you for the information.
I recommend going for an I color diamond if you want to place it into a setting with side stones. If you plan to use a halo setting, we would have to search for an H color stone. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/
Have a look at this stone:
It’s very well cut and eye-clean.
If you want, have a look at their collection of settings. You can choose a simple solitaire style in 14k gold.
What do you think?
I like it! I’ll look at it tonight, but I think I’ll pick a simple setting and go for it.
If I do, the key for The Pros is that my James Allen account have this email, correct?
Thanks.
I’m happy that you like the diamond.
Thanks for thinking of us. You can use whichever email address for the purchase, just write me an email if it’s different from this one.
Let me know how you like the ring once it arrives.
