Hello,
I have started looking at rings and wanted to get some feedback. I am looking for a 1ct diamond either princess or emerald, VS1 or better G or better in color. I prefer to buy in person. Do you have any recommendations for a retailer in my area? I am also looking at Tacori rings but I have seen some bad reviews on them but they do seem to be dated back a few years.
Thank you.
We don’t really recommend buying diamonds locally unless you find a really good value and reputable jeweler. We think that the best bang for your buck is purchasing a diamond from an online retailer. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/buy-diamonds-online/
I’m happy to search some reputable online companies and help you find the best diamond there if you like.
How does purchasing the diamond and setting separately go? Or do you have online retailers that sell Tacori settings?
I am looking for this setting:

Great. Can you tell me what your budget for the center stone is?
4 to 5k
All right, this would be my recommendation:

They are well cut, eye-clean and either of them will make a beautiful ring.
What do you think?
These are great. How about something in higher color?
I wouldn’t go higher than a G. You’d be paying more for something that looks identical to the naked eye. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/
Ok sounds good. I need help finding that setting. Since1910 didn’t have it.
You can contact James Allen and ask them if they would be willing to adjust one of their settings for you. They have a fantastic design team.
