We are hoping you can recommend a few asscher cut diamonds in the $10-13K range. We are looking at settings like platinum solitaire w/ pave diamonds on the band (no halo). We would be willing to sacrifice some clarity and perhaps color for a larger stone, but want something eye-clean. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!

Thanks! I really like these options. Quick question – do you know why James Allen seems to hide the cut rating on their site? More curious than anything. Which one is your favorite? How important is color to asscher diamonds – in terms of them showing any “yellow”?
That’s actually pretty funny. It’s the opposite. GIA only gives cut grades for round diamonds. Because of that, non-professionals are a bit in the dark when it comes to the cut quality of fancy shapes. Other websites decide to simplify it by using their own cut grades. This is, in my opinion, a bad tactic. A company selling the diamond should not be the one deciding which ones to consider excellent/ideal or not. It should be left to an independent party.
All three of the diamonds are well cut, and it is not an issue. I hope I clarified things for you.
