I am looking for either an oval or an emerald cut diamond between 1.85 and 2.15 ct. to be placed in either a pave or vintage setting. I prefer to go through Blue Nile.
Which shape do you think is better value? What should be my top priority outside of cut for these shapes? Total budget is around $20K.
Both shapes hold the same value. The most important thing to have is the GIA report and the picture/video of the diamond.
I like these two for you:
Blue Nile LD08763987
Blue Nile LD08169317
They are well cut, eye-clean and either of them will make a beautiful ring.
What do you think?
These look great. Could you also send me an option for a cushion as well?
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I just got back from vacation and went to order the oval diamond and it is no longer available on Blue Nile.
Can you please see if you can find a similar one? Again, specifications are oval diamond around 2 carats, I want total ring price to be under $20,000 so diamond should cost between $12,000 to $18,000?
Thank you so much for your help.
No worries. How about this one?

They have good specs, but I can’t recommend an oval diamond without seeing its picture/video first. You should ask for their photos.
Thanks. I have requested the photos and will forward when I receive. It will take 24-48 hours.
Great. Keep me posted.
Please see attached photos of the 2 diamonds. Thoughts?
Thank you. They both look good, the bow-ties are ok.
Now it’s entirely up to you, both of the diamonds are great choices.
