First, thank you for providing such comprehensive and pertinent educational tools for free. I heard about you on the Art of Charm podcast.
I am looking for an engagement ring with a deep yellow diamond set in white gold. My budget is around $6000 total cost.
I like the look of pave up one half of a split shank ring, but do not care for a halo of diamonds around the center stone. Could you please forward me links to a few stones (or full rings) you recommend?
An alternative would be a three stone ring with a white diamond in the center and yellow diamonds on either side.
Would having yellow diamonds flanking a white diamond affect how restrictive I should be in selecting the center diamond color? In other words, would the yellow bleed over and make the center diamond look pale yellow?

If you use yellow diamonds for the sides, it might affect the whiteness of the center a little. But it will also give it a nice contrast.
As for the yellow center, you said deep yellow stone, did you mean Fancy Deep intensity?
Yes, I think fancy deep intensity describes what I am looking for.
