Hi,
Thank you for the excellent site and information, really helpful.
I’m in the market for a round diamond in the range of 12-14k.
I found this one 2ct F, SI2, but little concern how visible will be the inclusions with naked eye once the diamond is in the ring:
Thanks.
The issue with the stone you found is its clarity grade. There’s a comment “Clarity grade is based on clouds that are not shown”. It means that there’s a big cloud that significantly influences the appearance of the stone.
Also, are you willing to go slightly down with the color grade? An H color stone is going to look colorless and this way we can maximize your budget.

On the color grade I can go to “I” as long as appears colorless.
For example this one:

Can you also tell me what style of setting (solitaire, halo, pave or other) and metal (white or yellow gold) you’re going to use?
I want to make sure that the stone I recommend will look colorless. Then I’ll be happy to comment on the stones you sent, too.
I’m looking for round cut solitaire on white ring.
Thanks.
Thank you for the additional information.
Then you can stick with an I color diamond. The one you found is very nice. The table is slightly bigger than we usually recommend. But it is fine.
At the same time, I found a beautiful stone with similar specs and less expensive:
Here’s a bigger diamond with the quality I’d recommend:
What do you think?
I like the second option.
Is there a concern that fluorescent is shown as “medium blue”?
I’m happy to hear that you like my suggestion.
Medium blue fluorescence on an I color stone is a bonus. It can help the color to look slightly brighter. So there’s no need to worry about it.

I have ordered this diamond.
Thank you for the valuable support!
That’s fantastic news!
It was my pleasure helping you.
And please let me know how you like the stone once it arrives.
