Hello, I have never purchased any jewelry with a diamond. My girlfriend and I have been looking at engagement rings for over a week, making appointments and feeling frustrated as well as overwhelmed with the sales people. Is it possible to find .6-.7 carat diamond that is G-F in color with VS quality for around 3k?
I’m sorry to hear about your unpleasant experiences.
Can you also tell me what style of setting (solitaire, halo, pave or other), metal (platinum/white or yellow gold) and shape of diamond you’re looking for? Different settings suit certain colors better (www.diamonds.pro/diamond-color/). Then I’ll be happy to send you my suggestion.
We like round diamonds in a solitaire setting or a center diamond with simple diamond accents on the side in a channel setting (not eternity. We want white gold for the band.
Thank you for helping us.
Thank you for the information.
Here’s a stone that matches what you’re looking for:
Blue Nile LD08420912
If you’re willing to go slightly down with the color grade, here’s stone with the quality I’d recommend:
Blue Nile LD08868677
It’s very well cut, eye-clean and going to look colorless and it saves you money: https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/.
What do you think?
My question is what’s the difference from your perspective from what I’m looking for and what you recommend?
Since both diamonds are going to look colorless, I don’t see a reason for you to pay the extra buck without getting any additional benefit. That’s why I’d stick with the I color diamond.
Thank you for your help and to confirm I will be purchasing the diamond with this email address.
