Hi. I’d like a round cut. I’m not sure on size but she has tiny hands size 4.5 rings. So around a 1.25 to 1.5ct…just a guess that would be a good size. I’m thinking around 6 to 7k.
What style setting (solitaire, pave/side stones/halo) and metal (yellow/white gold, platinum) do you want to use? This may affect the colors that I recommend for the center diamond (as we explain in our post on color).
I think a three stone pave in platinum. Also after looking at some loose diamonds yesterday, I think I need to up my cost target to get a diamond of the quality I’d like to get her. The setting price is $2300. So around 8k for the stone 1.4 to 1.5ct.
Great, thank you for the additional info.
I looked around and I like these options for you:

They are well cut, eye-clean and either of them will be very brilliant.
What do you think?
I purchased the diamond from Blue Nile. Thanks for your help. This diamond should look great on my wife’s finger.
That’s great news!
If you can also write me back once you receive the ring, that would be great. I’d love to know how you like it in person.
I have the ring and it looks great! It was several thousand less than any similar diamond I looked at locally and I’m sure my wife will love it.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback, I’m so glad that you are happy with the ring. It was my pleasure helping you.
