Looking for largest carat possible without losing quality, hoping for 2 carat but realize may need to go down in size to get the best possible quality/size value at my price point
I would like to stay below 15k for the diamond! Round solitaire going to be put on micro pave petite band.
Here’s what I found for 15k:
www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.84-carat-i-color-si1-clarity-ideal-cut-sku-5912125?a_aid=dmnd1357
They are well cut, eye-clean and all of them will be very brilliant in a pave setting.
What do you think?
Those actually all look great! I’m going to be using Blue Nile for sure, not sure if that helps you or not.
I think 1.84 is a good size especially on a petite band, I don’t want it to be too heavy for the band and falling to either side.
Also, I like the quality of the diamonds you chose. I think going any larger I may have to compromise on quality and I am just too afraid of getting a larger stone and it looking horrible to the naked eye.
I appreciate all of your help!
…
Also, out of the two Blue Niles it looks like the 1.83 is a cleaner diamond, what are your thoughts between the two?
Great, I’m glad you like my suggestions. Size-wise, nobody usually knows what a 2ct diamond is supposed to look like.
Out of the two BN stones, I like the 1.83ct more, the price is great and it’s absolutely eye-clean.
Perfect thanks so much for your help! I think that’s the one I’ll get.
I’m glad I could help! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you.
