Hello, your site is very helpful and easy to understand. I was hoping to get a few recommendations on a princess cut diamond.
1. $10-13k
2. White Gold
3. Tapered, baguette diamond side stones

Thanks in advance.
Here is what I’d recommend for you:
They are both fantastic diamonds, but I like the 1.70 a drop more. Its superbly cut, eye-clean and a great value. What do you think?
Appreciate the recommendations. 1.7 Carats is slight larger than I was thinking, only because she has slightly small hands (ring size 4.5) and I know she would prefer giving up some of the Carat to get a brighter diamond. Thoughts on a tad less Carats to get something brighter (of course, relative to value)? Would there be a noticeable difference in brightness if we go down to ~1.5 Carats at around this price point?
Thanks.
You can go for one of these:

No need to spend more.
Thanks a lot. Yeah, I think I still like the 1.7 carat (below) you initially showed me more . Especially if the only difference is G vs. H coloring and I noticed some inclusions in the ~1.5 carat set. In your opinion, do you believe the brilliance between the two should be nearly identical to the untrained/naked eye between a G vs H?
I would go with the H.
