I am looking to buy and engagement ring. I have already decided on the Falling Edge Halo in Platinum for the setting from James Allen.
PLATINUM FALLING EDGE PAVE DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING
I am now looking for a pear-shaped diamond for the ring. I am looking for the diamond to be at least 0.8 carats and hopefully closer to 1.0 carat. I am also looking for an eye-clean diamond which is at least H in color. I am willing to go a little over my budget if the diamond is exceptional or if required to get an eye-clean diamond in that size.
I would appreciate any help you can provide in looking for a pear-shaped diamond from James Allen.
Can you give me your budget, so I know what exactly to look for in terms of carat weight?
My budget is around $3,000 for the pear diamond.

That one looks very beautiful. My only concern is the L/W ratio is a little bit low at 1.48 and based upon the suggestions from your site you recommend between 1.55 and 1.75. Do you have any suggestions of one that is a little closer to that range for the ratio?
The radio between 1.55 and 1.75 is the most common one among people. But that doesn’t mean that other radios are bad. Some people prefer to have a chubbier pear which is absolutely fine.
But if you like something longer, it’s no problem. Here is one that I found:
