Hi, I’m looking for a 2/3 to 3/4 carat round diamond for between $3,200-3,800. It will be set in a white gold engagement ring, which has a split shank and a halo of small diamonds. I’ve been looking around and I found to likely diamond candidates but cannot decide between the two.

GIA 5141648867
Could you tell me if one of them is definitively better? Or if there is a better third option? Thank you so much!
To be honest I don’t like either of those diamonds for general and specific reasons.
1) The tables are too big. Those are not well cut diamonds.
2) I think you are overpaying for less important qualities (color/clarity) and ignoring the more important aspect, cut.
I would recommend these two over those:

If you really want a spectacularly brilliant diamond, BGD’s Signature diamonds are the way to go:

What do you think?
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The BGD had a dark spot in the eye. I found the inclusions too easily on the James Allen diamond for my liking. Using cut parameters closer to yours I found this. Even though its “only” a VS2 I wasn’t able to find the flaw. What would you consider to be the optimum measurements to be for an ideal round?

Again, thanks for your help.
That diamond looks great. Keep below 59 table and a 63 depth.
