As far as the diamond I guess it looks ok to me. Are there any negatives associated with the faint fluorescence? I was also wondering if you could pick out a few across the price range so I could see what you think is the best 18k,20k etc one available? I’m starting to find myself concerned about depth and table% and may be confusing myself further. Thanks.

Thanks. This one looks pretty good to me, but I do have a couple questions. I was thinking that cut was important enough to warrant getting an ideal or excellent cut? Am I mistaken here? I thought I remembered reading on your site that the difference between a very good cut and ideal cut was noticeable.
Also the measurements seems on the small side for a 2.26ct stone. Is this because it’s got a bit more height or do some weigh more than others? Thanks.
1) There is no such thing as an ex/id/vg cut for princess cuts. GIA does not give grades out for non-round diamonds. Both of the diamonds I recommended fall within the parameters that we use for princess cuts.
2) That said, I think the cut on the first diamond is superior and its a better value overall.
