Hi Diamond Pros!
A 1.0 ct diamond at around £4, 500 – £5,000 (diamond only) is right at the top end of my budget, but I’m really keen to make it work! Having watched your videos, and spent hours pouring over the James Allen 3D images of hundreds of stones, I’m still struggling a little.

Strong fluorescence is a big problem on I+ diamonds. It can cause haziness. I would pass on this one.

The cut on this diamond is off. The table % of 61 is too high. It will lose a lot of its brilliance.
Here’s what I’d recommend:

It’s beautifully cut, absolutely eye-clean and will have a lot of brilliance.
What do you think?
Thank you so much for this – I went through with your suggested stone, and have now placed the order!
That’s great news! I’m glad you liked my recommendation.
