Glad to have a site like diamonds.pro for a complete diamond newbie like me. I’ve been learning a lot recently from your site and I’ve come close to my purchase decision. This is the one in my mind:

Which will be set on this 18k white gold ring (size 6):

Would that be a good buy for the diamond?
Thank you.
That’s a lovely combo. I like the diamond a lot and it will for sure look amazing in that tension setting. I have nothing to say against that choice. Great find!
Thanks for your prompt response. Although the rock might not be the one I had in mind due to the change of setting. Appreciate your help.
My pleasure.
What setting did you decide on?

You can go much lower in color with that setting.
How about these two?

I like the first one a lot. Thanks. Will give it more thoughts in making final decision. Quick question, I learned from the Internet that the following ratios are consider ideal:
Table: 53-58%
Depth: 58-60%
Am I misled by that? Should I also consider the ration between those two ratios?
Those specs are not bad. I’m going to give you more info here.
1) The larger the table, the less light refracts through it (sparkles). “Perfect” light refraction usually occurs with tables around 55-57%. The larger a table is, the larger the diamond looks (that is the biggest facet on the top, so it makes the face appear larger). I like the 58-59% as it’s a good balance between appearance of size and brilliance.
2) Ideally, the depth should be close to 61% and shouldn’t exceed 62.8%. Not only will the diamond be less brilliant, it will look smaller: https://www.diamonds.pro/education/carat-weight/
Let me know when you decide.
Just placed the order for the following combination:
Thanks for your help.
Sounds great!
You picked a fantastic combo. I’m pretty sure it will look amazing.
