Just to make sure we’re on the same page here, are you using a yellow gold solitaire setting?
I checked the diamonds you sent me and I loved all of them. They are well cut, eye-clean and bright. Medium and strong fluorescence will help them look a tad whiter.
Two of them are unavailable at the moment. Have you purchased either of them or put it on hold?

To me, it seems like a great buy, especially for the carat size. I spent quite a bit of time browsing with your website’s advice in mind. I am waiting on my girlfriend’s ring size so I can finalize this order. I haven’t paid for it yet, so I have until the end of today to get with JA and finalize the order.
I will be setting in an 18k yellow gold, 4 prong solitaire. The J Color is my only concern with this diamond. It seems bright to me, and with the fluorescence, it will look great in the yellow gold? The strong fluorescence doesn’t appear to have a milky effect, but would I be able to see this in the online image?
This is at the top end of my budget, but I didn’t find many in the $8k-9k range even when searching for smaller diamonds (1.6c or larger).

That diamond is an excellent choice. It’s well cut and eye-clean.
J color is perfectly fine there. In fact, K color is what we usually recommend for a yellow gold solitaire and it still looks great. But for a diamond this size, I’d stick with the J to be on the safe side. You are right with the fluorescence as well, it will help the diamond look a bit whiter.
