I’m Jenny, and I’ve been an enthusiastic part of the Diamond Pro team since the beginning of 2015.
From a young age, my parents raised my sister and I to always be curious about the world around us. We studied art, languages, music and history and spent a great deal of our time playing violin in an orchestra and even won some awards at some national competitions.
When the time came, my sister chose a career as a veterinarian, and I found my passion in history. As a college student, I focused on genealogy, since the idea of studying real people with real lives fascinated me. I also learned Latin and German, both of which helped me with my research.

While getting my Bachelor’s degree in history, I started leaning towards dealing with actual living people rather than with the histories of people who were already long gone. I became a mentor for international students studying at our university and then I became the cultural event coordinator in the International Students’ Club. At the same time, I started leading trips for that organization, as I love to show people around, educate them and tell stories.
As I was always taught to learn and explore, it seems fitting that I found my meaning of life in travel. As a history person, I was always attracted to European countries, full of such rich cultural backgrounds. I loved visiting Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Ukraine, Austria, France and many others. On the other hand, I also have soft spot for nature so I’m just as thrilled when visiting Ireland and Scotland.

My greatest dream came true in 2015 when I travelled through Iceland, sleeping in tents, bathing in the hot springs and eating their amazing food. I watched the whales on the open sea and played guitar while watching the sun both set and rise at the same time on the north tip of the island, not too far from the Arctic Circle.
My job at The Diamond Pro is a combination of all my previous interests. It involves history, learning so many new things and most of all, dealing with real people, listening to their stories and trying to make their days (or even lives) better and more brilliant.
