My name is Veronika and I am the newest member of the team.
My family and friends are extremely precious to me and I love climbing, yoga and my faithful 19 year-old dog. I come from a small family: just me, my brother and the most amazing mom in the world. My love for travel started with her, as she would take us to a new place every year for holiday, starting when I was 6.
We saw many beautiful cities in North Africa, more than 13 countries in Europe and even some of the Arabian Peninsula (Oman, UAE). We still have this tradition and take a trip every year to spend time together, enjoy the sunshine and relax.
How did I get started at The Diamond Pro? The journey was a long, zigzagging and unpredictable one. While I was studying for my Bachelor’s degree, I went on a two-year study exchange program to Turkey, to the heart of magical Istanbul. In Turkey, I could explore all its beauty across many regions and I fell in love with the country. The Turkish lifestyle, awesome cuisine and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere completely changed my life.
I met plenty of wonderful, interesting people from different countries and many of them became my close friends that I am still in touch with today.
After returning home and starting my Master’s degree in Human Resources and Public Policy, I began to miss being in touch with foreigners on a regular basis. So I searched for ways to meet some around me.
Then I joined our Student University Club and I became a buddy for international students at my alma mater. That’s where I met Jenny, who introduced me to Mike. After a long interview, I became Mike’s assistant, where I took care of administration while studying more about diamonds.
