Hi,
I am searching for a loose diamond and was hoping your team could be of help.
Budget: $7500
Shape: round
Eventual setting: solitaire, platinum or white gold.
Ideal size: 1.5+
Thank you!
I found two diamonds that I like a lot for a solitaire setting:
Blue Nile LD08066479
Blue Nile LD08277248
Both are well cut (the first one is eye-clean for sure, the second one seems that it will be too, but to make sure, ask BN for its actual photo). They will both look very bright and brilliant.
Let me know what you think.
Thank you for the two recommendations. I’ve submitted a request to BN to send a photo of the 1.56 ct diamond. The 1.51 ct diamond has already sold. Could you provide a few more recommendations?
……
What do you think about this diamond (pending actual photos)? How would it compare to the 1.56 you initially linked to?
Blue Nile LD08294741
……
Disregard the previous email, evidently that one sold. What are your thoughts on this one compared to the 1.56 you linked to?
Blue Nile LD08338418
Strong fluorescence and bigger table, while still being ideal cut. Would it appear more colorless and bigger?
The last one is sold as well (unless you put it on hold). The strong fluorescence shouldn’t be a problem on a J color diamond. The diamond won’t appear that bigger, look at the actual measurements in the cert.
This one would also be a good option (it’s a bit smaller):
Blue Nile LD08156045
They actually put a hold on the last one (1.54) for me until the get me a photo. Speaking of photos, here is one of the 1.56. What do you think?
……
Attached are photos of the 1.54 and 1.56 ct diamonds. I have also attached the links to them at BlueNile. Could you please tell me which of the two you would purchase and why?
A quick reply would be appreciated.
I’m not sure about the crystal on the 1.56ct one. It looks very obvious. I like the other one much better.
Thanks. To confirm, you prefer the diamond with the white background?
Yes. I prefer the 1.54ct diamond.
